Ratings

Cantrip uses the Glicko-2 rating system to track player strength over time. Newer players move up and down the leaderboard quickly while their rating is considered provisional, while veterans' scores adjust more slowly as the system becomes more confident about their true stength.

Ratings are also tracked per-format. On any member's profile page, you can view their ratings for Commander, Constructed, and Limited.

Opting Out

You can opt out of being ranked within your league by going to your profile page, clicking the "Edit Profile" button, and selecting the "Unrated" checkbox. This will hide your rating within your league. Your rating is still internally tracked for the purposes of determining other players' rating changes and to allow for toggling this setting off.
